Wife and Minister of the Gospel

Pastor James McNeal III, born December 16, 1982 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the son of Virgle P. McNeal and Evangelist Rozlyn D. McNeal. He was raised at his home church, Church of New Hope & Faith, under the late Honorable Bishop James McNeal Jr. It was there—under Bishop McNeal Jr.’s grace and tutelage—that Pastor McNeal discovered his calling and began his ministry journey.

In 2004, on Good Friday, Pastor McNeal experienced what he describes as a “triple anointing,” receiving salvation, the Holy Ghost, and the call to ministry in one powerful night. That encounter shaped a life marked by faithful service—supporting church auxiliaries, strengthening the community, and committing to the work of building people through the Word and compassion.

In 2007, Pastor McNeal relocated to Houston, Texas, where he continued to serve in ministry and leadership through The Nation Christian Fellowship Conference, holding multiple positions and learning the disciplines of effective ministry and kingdom leadership. On August 8, 2008, he married his “favor,” Minister Roshalle M. McNeal, and together they have served side-by-side in ministry for many years. On March 9, 2013, they welcomed their twin children, Janai and James IV.

In 2022, Pastor James and Minister Roshalle obeyed God’s call to launch One Word Worship Assembly (OWWA)—a young, vibrant, and forward-moving church with a clear mandate: “Let’s Make Heaven Crowded.” OWWA’s mission is to lead the lost to the cross by any means necessary, and the ministry continues to grow with a heart to reach the community, raise disciples, and see lives transformed—one soul at a time.
